The bands and singers were great and the show met expectations. There were some technical issues but overall I would recommend the show for Avril fans and tobe introduced to the supporting bands.

Fun Night

My wife and I really enjoyed the show. Avril sang our favorite songs and she sounded great. One star shy was for the extreme loudness of the base coming out of the speakers that at times seemed to overpower her voice. This is not a 60's hard rock band trying to get into the Guinness book of records for the highest decibel concert. She has a sweet voice that shouldn't have to compete with excessively loud instruments. We will surely see her again if she comes back to CT.

Horrible Lighting

She sang in the dark! Literally! The lighting crew kept the lights off her! Ive never seen such a thing! She sounded great! Maybe she wasn’t singing!!! It was the strangest thing! I have it on video!!

Avril Lavigne Greatest Hits Tour

I love Avril Lavigne and have since I was a kid so the concert was very nostalgic but I was disappointed with the quality of the mic. They must’ve been having some major technical difficulties opening night. You could tell she was fidgeting with her ear piece and sound. She’s a talented singer but often throughout the show you couldn’t hear her sing the lyrics and hear the words. I really wish I could’ve heard her sing the whole time and what she had to say when she spoke to the audience. I was in section 116 which is pretty good seats so maybe the band overwhelmed her voice too. Maybe if I had gone to a show that was in the middle of the tour there would’ve been less hiccups and technical difficulties. I still enjoyed myself, love Avril and grateful she made a comeback so I could see her in my lifetime but I hoped for more seamless show and a longer show.
