My 1st post has not shown up so I will write again. Ken Jeong’s standup comedy routine was really disappointing. He geared his routine to a “low class casino” crowd of Albuquerque. Too much profanity, it lacked his mannerisms that make him really funny! Too much time spent talking about his wife’s cancer journey—-does he need to share this with this crowd? His opening act Korean-born fellow was appalling in gutter humor. I mean, really. I would like to see him do this act in LA or NY. I would give him another chance—or go back to tv & movies

Ripped off!

Ordered tickets and paid over $70 to see him last night. We were very disappointed. They said event was from 7-10pm. We arrived at 7:30 as he was just coming on. He performed until 8:30pm al then it was over. Everyone was shaking their heads and saying, that’s it?? He mostly answered medical questions from the audience. Definitely not what we expected. Very disappointed.

He could do better

Show material was consistently below the belt. I was offended by it. Not much creativity in his humor last night. He can do better, but was hugely disappointed in last nights performance. Wasted my money, don’t want to sit for an hour and listen to cock jokes. An insult to my intelligence. His opening act was worse. Do they really think that degrading the human body , jokes about “little people”, paraplegics, is funny? Appalling and offensive. Also, the casino I filled with cigarette smoke, and you have to walk through it to get to the showroom.

Awful

Totally agree with Kathy, from Austin. He was so unprepared. No comedy at all. Show was spent putting up house lights and answering medical questions from audience. He went on a tirade when an audience member, after about 45 minutes of this, called him out on it. We came for some laughs: a stand-up comedy show. This was not it. He walked off just shy of 1 hr. onstage, basically giving a medical seminar. Not what we paid good money for.
