Splendid Performance
NYCB’s Coppelia is a one kind story ballet, consisting of turns, leaps and unique steps. Tiler Peck and Roman Mejia danced the principal roles that night, with Tiler and Roman turning and leaping across the stage. The set was beautiful, and the costumes were splendid. Act l included dancing and storytelling and also included some soloists. Act ll only had storytelling. Act lll was splendid, including lots of dancers, and kids! The kids were impeccably rehearsed and did an amazing job. The soloists were also incredible doing pirouettes and leaps. The pas de deux was amazing, as Tiler and Roman were just beautiful dancing together, especially Roman’s partnering! I had a wonderful night watching these dancers perform at the Kennedy Center!
