Diagnosed with polio at age 14, Perlman's legs were permanently paralysed and doctors held little hope for a his future in music. But the budding virtuoso persevered and enrolled in the Music Academy of Tel Aviv. The rest, as they say, is unbelievable history! Perlman is now internationally beloved not only for his musical skill but for his disarming charm and has received a stunning total of 15 Grammy Awards to date.
