Why see John Legend?

Christmas With John Legend

EGOT holder and twelve-time Grammy award winner John Legend is hitting the road this year as he heads out on his 'Evening With John Legend' tour, along with a string of special Christmas shows. The 'All Of Me' singer will be joined by full orchestra and gospel choir. You can expect to hear your favorite Christmas songs alongside Legend's hit tracks "Ordinary People", and "Green Light". Gear up for a Christmas like no other with the "King of Valentine's Day".

A man of many talents, John isn't just about the music! Legend also lends his toolbox to theatrical projects, garnering his Emmy award for his starring role as Jesus in the TV production of Jesus Christ Superstar Live! as well as a Tony award for 2017's Best Revival of a Play, Jitney, which he co-produced.

Performer (A) v audience (F)

John Legend’s performance was amazing & fulfilling. From start to finish, he and his talented team engaged the audience. However, as one enter’s Planet Hollywood’s Zappos theater, a sign states that the audience is encouraged to stand. That attitude encourages energy, but it ignores the needs of shorter people (me) and older ones (my husband), and the less vigorous. While most audience members respected their audience neighbors’ needs, we, unfortunately, had a couple blocking views entirely, including a couple in the row below ours, my husband’s view, and the older man’s (next to him) view. We would not have purchased tickets had we known that we needed to stand throughout the performance. We specifically purchased tickets near the very rear of the theater bc we understand that the young & healthy want to stand and dance near the pit area. So my advice to venues and performers is to save a section for the short, the older ones, and the less robust to be able to view in comfort. ... Read more
