McCaw Hall
Seattle Center, 321 Mercer St, Seattle, WA 98109
McCaw Hall is part of the Seattle Center complex.
Originally opened in 1928 as the Civic Auditorium, (later renamed Seattle Opera House) McCaw Hall is home to the Seattle Opera and Pacific Northwest Ballet. Owned by the city of Seattle, the building was rededicated to Marion Oliver McCaw, whose four sons donated $20 million to fund its first major renovation in 2003. Today a large range of events takes place at the Hall apart from the ubiquitous opera and ballet productions including concerts, comedy gigs and film premieres.
