Despite a career spanning over three decades, Boa's mainstream success is relatively new ground for the group. Their 1998 song "Duvet" went massively viral on TikTok in 2021, becoming a massive hit and resulting in an explosive resurgence and millions of new fans.

Inspired by the Disney princess Snow White and a desire to keep her personal life separated from the music business, bilingual Mexican-American rapper Claudia Feliciano adopted the name Snow Tha Product before honing her skills in the Dallas-Forth worh underground hip hop scene.
