The Seattle area is home to some truly outstanding young talent when it comes to jazz. For over 25 years, Starbucks has fostered this budding genius with their annual Hot Java Cool Jazz concert, bringing together a stellar roster of local high school musicians and bands. To top it off, one hundred percent of the proceeds from the evening go towards these schools' music programs - since its inception in 1995, HJCJ has raised almost $700,000!
