What better way to display the majesty of the Benroya Hall organ than Saint-Saens' stirring Symphony No.3? Dedicated to the memory of close friend Franz Lizt, it is a glorious trip through his creative career, an artistic peak that encompasses the full thrill of the Romantic period.

Before this masterpiece, the evening will pay further tribute to Saint Saen's genius with a recital of enduringly popular Danse Macabre, alongside Chopin's Piano Concerto No.2, composed when he was just 20 years old.

Dedicated in 2000, the Watjen Concert Organ was a gift of Craig and Joan Watjen and is considered a jewel in the crown of the Benroya Hall.
