PNB Premiere

March 2022 sees the premiere of this hour-long adaptation of a tale as old as time by Bruce Wells. Specially created for young audiences, the story is performed by members of the PNB's Ballet School. A marvelous way to introduce your little ones to the glory of the ballet the timeless fairy tale of Beauty and the Beast has fascinated audiences in a variety of adaptations since it was first published over two hundred years ago.

What is the story?

Belle is a bright and independent young woman who is taken prisoner by a beast in its castle. Despite her fears, she looks beyond the beast's frightening exterior and befriends the castles enchanted staff. Unbeknown to Belle, a Prince is trapped inside the form of a beast - but will she be able to recognize his kind heart and soul and free him?
