Created by the group's two songwriters Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus, alongside British playwright Catherine Johnson, this exuberant jukebox musical is a sunny romantic romp that will have you singing in the aisles to 'Waterloo,' 'Super Trooper,' 'Knowing Me, Knowing You,' and countless other iconic numbers.

Since it premiered in London in 1999, Mamma Mia! has gone onto become one of the most successful musicals of all time, and was adapted for the silver screen with a starry cast including Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan.

What is Mamma Mia! About?

The show revolves around single mother Donna who is planning her daughter Sophie's wedding on an idyllic Greek Island. Unbeknownst to her, Sophie has invited three former lovers from her past to the wedding, hoping to discover which one is her father. Cue romantic shenanigans and sparkly costumes galore.
